Ivor Gurney (1890-1937) b at 3 Queen Street, Gloucester thence to 19 Barton Street. Edu the National School and All Saints' Sunday School and the King's School till 1906. Worked temporarily as an organist at Whitminster, Hempsted and the Mariners' Church in Gloucester's Docklands. 1921 Lived with his aunt at 1 Westfield Terrace, Longford, Gloucester and returned there intermittently. Memorial stained glass window in St Mary de Lode church, in St Mary's Square, Gloucester. Buried in St Matthew's Church, Twigworth.
